Alert Severity

The Alert Severity screen displays a list of alert severity values that can be attached to alerts sent using the Send Alert option in the Claims, Collections, or Denials grid. Click New or Edit at the bottom of the screen, or from the context (right-click) menu, to access the Add/Edit Alert Severity screen.

Name: Short name that will appear in the Severity drop-down list in the Send Alert screen.
Description: Description of the alert severity that displays in the Alert Severity screen only.
Background Color: Color in which the alert will appear in the Alert Dashboard.
System Severity: Indicates that the severity value is for a system alert.
Active: Indicates that the value is enabled and will appear in the Severity drop-down list in the Send Alert screen.
